Boonville, MO (December 06, 2020) – A fatal accident took place on MO-98 in Cooper County on Saturday, December 5th.
Police reports state that, at about 10:25 a.m., two dump trucks heading in opposite directions on MO-98 near Brady Lane collided with one another. Statements would seem to indicate that inclement weather and poor road conditions played a role in this accident.
The driver of the westbound dump truck, 35-year-old Nathan S. Mann, a resident of Boonville, sustained fatal injuries during the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the eastbound dump truck sustained non-life-threatening injuries during the accident and was transported to University Hospital in Columbia.
