Kansas City, MO - Daniel Abramovitz Killed in Collision With School Bus on 211th St
Kansas City, MO (October 30, 2020) - A sheriff’s deputy from Leavenworth County died when a school bus collided with his car on Friday, October 30th.
As reported by the Leavenworth County Sheriff’s Office, the accident took place at about 4:00 p.m. when the deputy’s unmarked patrol car was involved in a collision with a school bus near the intersection of McIntyre Road and 211th Street.
Emergency medical personnel pronounced 60-year-old Deputy Corporal Daniel Abramovitz dead at the scene of the accident.
One student was on the bus at the time of the accident. He was released into the custody of his parents. A third victim, a USD 464 bus driver, was transported via ambulance to a local medical facility. His current condition is unknown.
This crash is still under investigation by local law enforcement.
