If you have been injured in a pedestrian accident in Missouri, you will most likely receive a call from the insurance company representing the driver involved in your accident, asking you to provide a recorded statement. You are not required to entertain their request, particularly if you have not yet spoken with a pedestrian injury attorney.
It is always a smart move to speak with an attorney before giving any statement to anyone. This is because insurance companies teach their adjusters to ask certain questions worded in such a way as to bring down the value of your claim as much as possible.
