Branson, MO (December 14, 2021) – An automobile accident reported in the Branson area left three people injured. At around 8:20 p.m., on December 12, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Route F.
Preliminary investigations conducted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a crash between a 2015 Mazda 3 and a 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier occurred on Route F just ¼ mile west of Branson after the driver of the Mazda failed to yield while turning.
Three people involved in the crash were injured. EMS transported a 17-year-old male and 31-year-old Michael Sarten to Cox Branson Hospital for care. A third victim, 38-year-old Melynda Cartright, was transported to Cox South Hospital for the treatment of serious injuries.
At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
