Rolla, MO (December 17, 2021) – A truck accident reported in Phelps County ended in injuries. At around 6:44 a.m., on December 16, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Interstate 44.
Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 2011 Ford Flex and a 2011 Peterbilt collided on the westbound side of Interstate 44 near mile marker 188.2. The crash left the Ford with moderate damage, requiring it to be towed from the scene.
The driver of the Ford, 21-year-old Abigail Bunch, sustained injuries in the accident. She was transported to Phelps Health for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
