St Louis, MO (December 11, 2021) – A motor vehicle accident reported on Thursday morning in the St Louis area left one man injured. At around 8:50 a.m., on December 9, calls for assistance came in surrounding an auto accident on Interstate 270.
Reports from Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper S. Wulser show that a 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt and a 2016 Kenworth T880 collided on the westbound side of Interstate 270 just east of US Highway 67. The incident caused some delays in the area as crews worked to remove the two extensively damaged vehicles from the roadway.
The driver of the Kenworth, 37-year-old Jacob Davis, was transported to SSM Heath Depaul Hospital for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
