West Plains, MO (December 25, 2021) – Several people were transported to area hospitals with injuries following a crash in Howell County. At around 3:55 a.m., on December 25, calls for assistance came in surrounding an accident on US Highway 63.
Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 2012 Toyota Yaris and a 2007 Dodge Charger were involved in a crash on US Highway 63 just five miles north of West Plains.
The crash left several people injured. One victim, 43-year-old Charles Coats, sought their own treatment for injuries. EMS transported 38-year-old Natasha Derryberry and 44-year-old Ricky Brewer to Ozark Healthcare for treatment. Air evac transported 48-year-old Billy McKinney to Mercy Springfield for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
