Halltown, MO (February 27, 2021) – In Lawrence County on Saturday, February 27th a collision between a car and a tractor-trailer on Missouri Highway 96 left one person seriously injured.
The accident took place at about 8:00 a.m. just outside of Halltown when an eastbound 2000 Jeep Cherokee and a westbound tractor-trailer collided head-on. Both vehicles were propelled off the roadway, causing the Jeep to overturn.
The driver of the Jeep, a 23-year-old female from Oronogo, endured serious injuries during the collision. She was transported by Mercy EMS to Mercy Hospital.
