Kansas City, MO - Boy Seriously Injured in Roller Coaster Accident at 2100 W 76 Country Blvd at Branson
Kansas City, MO (June 21, 2021) - A young boy sustained serious injuries on Sunday evening, June 20, after being trapped beneath a roller coaster in the Branson amusement park in the Ozarks.
First responders were called to assist around 7:30 p.m. The incident occurred at the Branson Coaster, located at 2100 West 76 Country Boulevard, according to Branson Fire Rescue. Upon arrival, they found a 12-year-old boy who was trapped underneath the coaster.
Rescue personnel provided emergency medical care and noted that the child had sustained serious injuries. After nearly two hours of rescue efforts, the boy was extricated from the ride and transported by Mercy LifeLine helicopter to a hospital in Springfield.
