Carrollton Township, MO (May 24, 2021) – On Monday, May 24th, a collision between two vehicles in Carroll County left one driver hospitalized with serious injuries.
Sources reported that the crash took place at about 2:30 p.m. at the junction between County Road 271 and Highway 24 when a 2006 GMC Sierra failed to stop at a stop sign and traveled into the path of a 2020 Ram Promaster cargo van. The two vehicles collided, causing the van to go on fire.
The driver of the van, a 30-year-old male from Laclede, sustained serious injuries during the accident. He was transported by Carroll County EMS to Carroll County Memorial Hospital.
