Grove Spring, MO (November 6, 2021) – Two men were left with injuries following a motor vehicle accident in Wright County on Friday evening, November 5. At around 11:40 p.m., emergency crews were notified that an accident occurred on Highway M that required assistance.
Reports from Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper D. E. Rogers show that a collision between a 2001 Dodge Dakota and a 2018 Chevrolet 3/4 –ton pickup truck occurred on Highway M just four miles southwest of Grove Spring. Both vehicles were totaled as a result of the accident and had to be towed from the scene.
The driver of the Dodge, 25-year-old Ashten Henson, and his passenger, 23-year-old Steven Henson, were both injured. Ashten Henson refused treatment at the scene while Steven Henson was transported to Cox Hospital for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
