St Charles, MO (November 30, 2021) – A multi-vehicle accident reported in St Charles left one woman injured. At around 2:15 p.m., on November 28, calls for assistance came in surrounding an auto accident on Interstate 70.
Reports from authorities show that a 2019 Cadillac XTS was traveling westbound on Interstate 70 behind a 2020 Volkswagen Tucson. The Cadillac, which was following too closely, collided with the rear of the Volkswagen. The impact of the crash caused the Volkswagen to crash into a 2021 Toyota Corolla. The Toyota then struck a 2018 Kia Optima.
A passenger in the Volkswagen, 67-year-old Pamala Hunter, sustained injuries in the accident. She was transported to SSM Health St Joseph Hospital Lake St Louis for care.
