Car Accidents in Missouri
Thousands of motorists are involved in motor vehicle accidents throughout the state of Missouri each year. Although not all accidents end in catastrophic injuries, a fair share of these crashes force victims into area hospitals. In many cases, victims sustain broken bones, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and various other life-changing injuries that require extensive medical treatment. The unfortunate truth is that motor vehicle accidents impact more than just the mental and physical health and wellbeing of victims. Not only are accidents overwhelmingly painful, but they can be financially draining as well.
When innocent parties are harmed in crashes, due to the negligence of others, they often have legal options available to help them move forward. Victims harmed in crashes are able to recover compensation to help alleviate some of the financial burdens they endure from their accidents. Some of the most common damages victims are able to recover include compensation for:
- Lost wages
- Medical costs (both immediate and long-term)
- Vehicle repairs
- Pain and suffering
