St Louis, MO (October 13, 2021) – A motor vehicle accident reported in St Louis left two people injured. At around 8:15 a.m., on October 12, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a crash on Interstate 70.
Reports from MSHP Trooper C. A. Gates show that a 2014 Ford Escape and a 2000 Ford F-650 both collided on the eastbound side of Interstate 70 in the area just east of Highway 141.
The crash left both vehicles with moderate damage.
The driver of the Escape, 29-year-old Nyeisha Scott, and her 2-year-old male passenger were both injured in the accident. The two victims were transported to SSM Health De Paul Hospital by Pattonville Fire Protection District.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
