Lee’s Summit, MO (April 30, 2022) – An auto accident reported in the Lee’s Summit area ended in injuries. At around 11:20 a.m., on April 29, calls for assistance came in surrounding an auto accident on Interstate 470.
Reports provided by authorities show that a 2015 Ford Escape and a 2009 Kia Spectra collided on the westbound side of Interstate 470. The incident caused moderate delays in the area of Northwest View High Drive.
EMS rendered aid to 30-year-old Sarah Davis at the scene of the accident. She was then transported to Centerpoint Medical Center for further evaluation.
The police and firefighters remained on-site for an extended period as they worked to clear the scene and investigate. At this time, investigations are ongoing.
