Franklin, MO – Four Injured in Three-Vehicle Crash on US-50 near Route AT

Franklin, MO (December 6, 2022) – Officials in Franklin County were notified that they were needed to provide assistance at the scene of a multi-vehicle collision that took place on Monday evening that resulted in injuries. At around 4:10 p.m., on December 5, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a crash on eastbound US Highway 50.

Preliminary reports show that the driver of a 2005 Dodge Caravan failed to yield the right-of-way to a 2010 Honda Alondra at the intersection of US Highway 50 and Route AT. The impact of the crash caused the dog to skid and rotate before striking a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado. All three vehicles were severely damaged in the crash.

Four people were hurt in the accident. EMS treated 29-year-old Sabrina Schaefer, 26-year-old Jacob Miller, a 4-year-old girl, and a 3-year-old girl, at the scene. All four victims were then transported to Mercy Hospital in Washington, Missouri, for further care.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is actively investigating the crash.
