Branson, MO (February 4, 2022) – One man was left with injuries as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Taney County on Tuesday evening that ended in injuries. At around 4:08 p.m., on February 1, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Missouri State Highway 248.
Reports from MSHP show that a 2015 Hyundai Accent failed to yield the right of way to a 2011 Nissan Titan on Missouri State Highway 248 just one-half mile north of Branson. As a result, the two vehicles collided.
The driver of the Nissan, 40-year-old Timothy Jones, sustained injuries in the accident. Jones was transported to Cox Branson for further evaluation.
At this time, MSHP is investigating the crash.
Our thoughts are with Timothy Jones at this time. We hope for his full recovery.
