Humansville, MO (January 6, 2022) – An auto accident reported in Cedar County ended in injuries. At around 6 p.m., on January 4, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Route N.
Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 2000 GMC Sonoma was traveling on Route N when it crossed over the center lines and crashed head-on into a 2000 Ford Explorer.
The driver of the GMC, 33-year-old Timothy Heidemann, was transported to Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar for the treatment of minor injuries.
The driver of the Ford, 64-year-old Charles Tweedy, was transported to Citizens Memorial Hospital in Bolivar for the treatment of moderate injuries. An additional ambulance transported 55-year-old Jimmie Yoachum to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for the treatment of serious injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
