Jefferson, MO (January 6, 2022) – Two pedestrians were hospitalized with moderate injuries following a motor vehicle accident in Jefferson County on Tuesday evening, January 4. Just before 8 p.m., authorities were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on US Highway 61.
Reports from Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper D. A. Norton show that a 1992 Ford F-150 made a left turn onto northbound US Highway 61 from a parking lot near East Street when it struck two pedestrians.
The pedestrians, identified as 66-year-old Debra House and 68-year-old Phillip Scott, were both injured in the crash. The two victims were transported by Rock Township Ambulance District to Mercy Hospital South for care
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
