St Louis, MO (July 25, 2022) – The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department responded to a motor vehicle crash that took place in the area that sent at least one person to a nearby hospital where they required medical attention.
On Sunday evening, July 24, police and firefighters were notified that a crash occurred on Interstate 70 that required assistance. At approximately 4:35 a.m., police officers and firefighters arrived at the scene and located damage to vehicles blocking the westbound side of Interstate 70.
Police and firefighters blocked off the right lane and shoulder of the roadway just past Missouri State Route 141 as they assisted victims at the scene.
At least one person suffered injuries due to this motor vehicle accident and was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital.
The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department is conducting an investigation into the crash at this time.
