Stanberry, MO (June 2, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Gentry County left one woman injured. At around 12:50 p.m., on June 1, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on US Highway 136.
Reports provided by authorities show that a 2014 Ford Edge in a 2020 Chevrolet 3500 pickup truck were both traveling westbound on US Highway 136. For unknown reasons, the vehicles collided just two miles east of Stanberry.
The crash left the Ford with significant damage, requiring it to be towed from the scene. MSHP and firefighters closed off a portion of the roadway as they work to clear the area.
The driver of the Ford, 27-year-old Kaleigh Armfield sustained injuries as a result of the accident. She was transported by Grand River ambulance to Mosaic Hospital in Albany for further care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
Our thoughts are with Kaleigh Armfield at this time. We hope for her full recovery.
