Lee’s Summit, MO (March 29, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Jackson County ended in injuries. Just after 7:45 a.m., on March 28, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene of an accident on Interstate 70.
Reports provided by authorities show that a 2020 Volkswagen Jetta was traveling westbound on Interstate 70. As the vehicle began to slow down near View High Drive, it was struck by a 2016 Acura ILX.
Both vehicles involved in the accident were towed from the scene.
The driver of the Volkswagen, a 17-year-old female from Lee’s Summit, Missouri, was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries.
