St Francois, MO – Timothy Courtwright Loses Life in Pedestrian Crash on US-67 near Old Orchard Rd

St Francois, MO (May 5, 2022) – One man has lost his life as a result of a pedestrian accident in St Francois early Monday morning. Just after 4:45 a.m., on May 2, authorities were dispatched to the scene of a crash on US Highway 67.

Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 2019 Chrysler Pacifica was traveling on southbound US Highway 67. For unknown reasons, the vehicle struck a male pedestrian near Old Orchard Road.

The pedestrian, identified as 35-year-old Timothy Courtwright, suffered severe injuries in the accident. Authorities arrived at the scene and pronounced him deceased.

At this time, investigations surrounding the accident are underway.
