Washington, MO (May 11, 2022) – Two people were left injured as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred in Washington County on Saturday evening, May 7. At around 10:19 p.m., the Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified that an auto accident on a Missouri State Route 21 required assistance.
According to reports, a 1995 Harley Davison Flhtcui was traveling north on Missouri State Route 21 when it became involved in a collision with a 2014 Dodge Avenger just north of Deuce Road. The impact of the crash caused the Harley Davidson to overturn and eject the driver. Both vehicles were totaled as a result of this accident and had to be towed from the scene.
Two people involved in the accident were injured. Washington County ambulance transported 60-year-old Robert Brake to Mercy Hospital South for the treatment of serious injuries. A second ambulance with the Washington County ambulance transported 68-year-old Patricia Westhoff to Washington County Memorial Hospital for the treatment of injuries.
At this time, the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
