St Charles, MO – One Injured in Two-Vehicle Wreck on Highway P near Broadhead Ln

St Charles, MO (November 2, 2022) – A traffic collision took place in St. Charles County and left a 24-year-old female from St. Louis, Missouri, injured. On October 31, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified that a crash occurred on Highway P.

According to reports, at around 4:55 p.m., a 2022 Toyota Avalon and a 2016 Ford Escape collided after the driver of the Ford failed to yield to oncoming traffic on the westbound side of Highway P at the intersection of Broadhead Lane. Both vehicles were moderately damaged in the accident. The two vehicles were removed from the scene by a local tow company.

The driver of the Toyota, 24-year-old Haley Vernier, suffered injuries in the accident. She was transported by St. Charles ambulance district to SSM health St. Joseph Hospital in Lake St. Louis, Missouri, where she was treated for her injuries.

The crash remains under investigation at this time.
