Cole, MO (October 29, 2022) – A traffic incident took place in Cole on Thursday morning that left two people injured. On October 27, troopers with the Missouri State Highway Patrol were dispatched to a collision that occurred on Route B.
According to reports, at around 645 a.m., the driver of a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado failed to yield the right-of-way to a 2016 Nissan Sentra on Route B at the intersection of Christy Drive. As a result, both vehicles collided, suffering extensive damage. Tow trucks were requested on-site to remove the two damaged vehicles from the roadway.
Two people suffered injuries in the crash. EMS rendered aid to 26-year-old Anna Kilgore of Holts Summit, Missouri, and 84-year-old Wayne Seybold of Jefferson City, Missouri. Seybold was then transported to Capital Regional Hospital for further care. Kilgore was transported by ambulance to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital, where she was treated for her injuries.
The crash remains under investigation at this time.
