Franklin, MO – One Injured in Collision on Old US-50 near Old Farm Estate Rd

Franklin, MO (October 15, 2022) – A traffic incident reported in Franklin County left one teen injured. At around 4:10 p.m., on October 13, emergency crews were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Old US Highway 50.

According to local law enforcement, a 1992 Honda Accord was exiting a private driveway on old US Highway 50 just west of old Farm estate Road when he became involved in a collision with a 2021 Kia Telluride. Both vehicles had to be towed away from the scene of the accident due to the extent of damages suffered.

The driver of the Honda, 18-year-old Tyler Maynard of Union, Missouri, suffered injuries in the crash. He was transported by union EMS to Mercy Hospital in Washington, Missouri, for the treatment of injuries.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
