According to local law enforcement, at around 5:40 a.m., a collision between a 2014 Dodge Journey and a 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt took place on Project Road just east of Maupin Road.

The impact of the collision caused the dogs to go on the left side of the roadway and strike offense before overturning.
