Jefferson, MO (October 30, 2022) – A man was left with moderate injuries following a pedestrian crash that took place in Jefferson County. On October 28, troopers with the Missouri State Highway Patrol were notified that a crash on Hillsboro House Springs Road required assistance.
According to reports, a Chevrolet Cavalier was traveling in the area of Hillsboro House Springs Road just south of Tower Road when they struck a pedestrian. The vehicle then fled the scene of the accident.
The pedestrian, 43-year-old Eric Fitzgerald of Imperial, Missouri, suffered moderate injuries. He was transported to Mercy Hospital South by Big River Ambulance District, where he underwent emergency medical care.
The crash remains under investigation at this time.
