St Louis, MO (October 24, 2022) – A traffic collision reported in St. Louis left one man seriously injured. At around 940 p.m., on October 21, the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a crash on Interstate 70.

According to local law enforcement, a 1998 Mercedes M Class began experiencing mechanical issues while traveling on the westbound side of Interstate 70 near mile marker 230.2. As a result, the vehicle came to rest on the roadway. The Mercedes was then struck by a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze. The Mercedes then collided with a 2016 Freightliner Cascadia.

A 35-year-old man involved in the crash, identified as Andrew Kanganis of Florissant, Missouri, suffered injuries. He was transported by Pattonville Fire Protection District to SSM Health Depaul Hospital, where he underwent emergency care.
