St Louis, MO – Three-Vehicle Wreck on I-270 near MM 30 Leaves One Man Injured

St Louis, MO (October 16, 2022) – A traffic collision reported in St. Louis left one 50-year-old man from Florissant, Missouri, injured. On October 15, troopers with the Missouri State Highway Patrol were dispatched to a collision that occurred on Interstate 270.

According to local law enforcement, at around 4:30 p.m., a 2015 Honda pilot was stopped due to traffic congestion on the east on side of Interstate 270 near mile marker 30. For unknown reasons, the vehicle was struck in the rear by a 2006 Hyundai Elantra. A 2017 Hyundai Elantra then crashed into the 2006 Hyundai. Both Hyundai suffered significant damage in the crash. All three vehicles were towed from the scene.

A 50-year-old man involved in the accident, identified as Faqid Lihmeidi of Florissant, Missouri, suffered injuries. Lihmeidi was transported by Christian EMS to Depaul Hospital, where he underwent treatment.

The circumstances surrounding the collision are being investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol at this time.
