Founded by David M. Peterson in 1993, Peterson & Associates, P.C. is a highly aggressive and successful plaintiffs-only mass tort and
personal injury law firm that handles all types of catastrophic personal injury cases, with an emphasis in the areas of
pharmaceutical and
medical device litigation. In 1981, Mr. Peterson received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He was a member of Tau Beta Pi and Pi Tau Sigma, both engineering societies.
Nicholas S. Clevenger joined Peterson & Associates, P.C. as an associate in April 2005. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Clevenger clerked at the firm for over a year, gaining valuable experience in the practice areas of
personal injury,
pharmaceutical and
medical malpractice and mass tort
litigation.
Brett A. Williams joined Peterson & Associates,
P.C. in March 2009. Prior to joining the firm,
he was a principal at the St. Louis law firm of
Brown & James, P.C., one of the largest litigation
firms in Missouri, where he practiced law for over
seven years. While at Brown & James, P.C., he
gained valuable experience defending corporations
and individuals in a wide variety of cases,
including products liability, truck accidents, and
other personal injury cases. Mr. Williams has
argued before the Missouri Supreme Court and the
Missouri Court of Appeals.
Mr. Williams graduated from Villanova University
with a Bachelors of Arts in 1997. He graduated
from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of
Law in 2000. Prior to joining Brown & James,
P.C., Mr. Williams clerked for the Honorable
Lawrence Crahan at the Missouri Court of Appeals.
Mr. Williams is a member in good standing of the
Missouri Bar and the California Bar. He is
also a member in good standing of the United States
Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States
District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri,
and the United States District Court for the Western
District of Missouri. Mr. Williams' practice
focuses on plaintiffs' personal injury including
products liability, truck and other motor vehicle
accidents and class actions.
Thomas H. Rolwing, Jr.
Thomas H. Rolwing, Jr. joined Peterson &
Associates, P.C. in April 2009. Mr. Rolwing
graduated from the University of Missouri with a
Bachelor of Arts in 1994. He graduated from
St. Louis University School of Law in 1998.
He is a member in good standing of the Missouri
Bar, Kansas Bar and Illinois Bar. He is also a
member in good standing of the United States
District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri,
United States District Court for the Southern
District of Illinois, and the United States District
Court of Colorado.
Mr. Rolwing is listed in Who's Who in American
Law. He is a member of the American
Association for Justice (AAJ) and the Missouri
Association of Trial Attorneys (MATA). Mr.
Rolwing's practice focuses on plaintiffs' personal
injury including products liability, truck and other
motor vehicle accidents, nursing home negligence and
class actions.
