Kyle P. Sollars joined Peterson & Associates, P.C. in May of 2019. Mr. Sollars is part of the firm’s mass torts group. His practice focuses on injuries caused by pharmaceuticals, medical devices, chemical exposure, and other types of products liability litigation. He has been involved in the Roundup® litigation as well as litigation involving testosterone replacement therapy, IVC filters, surgical warming blankets, and other consumer and medical products.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Sollars represented injured persons in motor-vehicle accidents, slip and falls, and insurance litigation. He also represented insurance companies, businesses, and other parties in insurance-defense litigation, business litigation, and in corporate matters. This background gives Mr. Sollars a unique and valuable insight into litigating personal injury cases on behalf of injured persons.
In 2009, Mr. Sollars graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology. He graduated from the Washburn University School of Law in 2013, with honors. While at Washburn, he served as Student Editor of the Family Law Quarterly law journal and Vice President of Moot Court.
Mr. Sollars is a member in good standing of the Missouri Bar and the Kansas Bar. He is also licensed to practice before the federal courts in the District of Kansas and the Western District of Missouri. He is also a member of the American Association for Justice. Mr. Sollars was named to the Missouri/Kansas Super Lawyers Rising Stars in 2019.
