Kansas City, MO - Six Teens Injured in Car Crash at the Paseo & 58th St
Kansas City, MO (December 14, 2020) - A one-vehicle collision in Kansas City on Saturday, December 12, left six teenagers injured.
The crash reportedly occurred near the intersection of the Paseo and 58th Street. The incident was reported at around 3 a.m. that morning. According to local sources, a black Kia Rio5 was traveling southbound on the Paseo at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control of the vehicle.
The vehicle crossed the median, traveled into the northbound lanes of traffic, and collided with a tree. A total of eight passengers were inside the vehicle at the time of the accident. One of the occupants suffered critical injuries, and another suffered serious injuries. Four others were also injured.
All six injured parties were transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment. An ongoing investigation into the crash is currently underway.
