Moberly, MO (April 25, 2021) – Five women sustained injuries and were transported to University Hospital in Columbia following a car accident on Highway 63 just outside of Moberly on Sunday, April 25th.

According to reports, at about 10:00 p.m., four women were waiting in the median after their Ford Taurus struck a deer and became disabled in the northbound passing lane.

18-year-old Marin Tadrus was heading northbound in a separate vehicle when she crashed into the Taurus, forcing it into the median where it struck the four women.

Two of the pedestrians along with Tadrus received serious injuries during the accident. The other two women sustained moderate injuries.

A medical helicopter was dispatched to airlift one of the injured victims.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
