Benton Co, MO (August 13, 2021) – On Friday morning, August 13, a man was injured in an ATV accident that occurred in the Benton County area.
A Blue Springs man was injured in a 4-wheeler accident, and according to reports from troopers with the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the man has since been identified as 29-year-old Coty L. Jester.
Jester was reportedly driving a Suzuki 4-wheeler on Bent Tree Drive at Greenwood Drive around 11:50 a.m. when the incident occurred. His vehicle overturned backward and ejected him as he was riding down the road.
Police say that Jester was transported by Golden Valley EMS to Bothwell Health Center with moderate injuries, though details on the extent of those injuries were not released.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing, and officers have not released further details.
