Clinton, MO (August 26, 2021) – On Thursday, August 26th, a collision between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer left one woman seriously injured in Henry County.
Police reports show that the crash took place in the northbound lanes of State Highway 7 at the Water Street intersection when a 2005 Hyundai Accent and a tractor-trailer, driven by a 44-year-old male from Amarillo, TX, collided.
The impact caused the driver of the Hyundai to be ejected from her vehicle.
The victim, a 69-year-old female from Clinton, sustained serious injuries. She was transported by Life Flight to Research Medical in Kansas City.
The truck operator was unharmed during the impact.
