Ferguson, MO (August 08, 2021) – Police are searching for a vehicle that they say is connected to a fatal hit-and-run accident that took place in Ferguson on Saturday, August 7th.
Reports show that the accident occurred when a man was attempting to cross Chambers Road in the area of Coppinger Drive at about 11:00 p.m. when he was struck by a car.
The driver fled the scene in an older model Ford Taurus with heavy front-end damage.
The victim was then struck by a second vehicle, the driver of which remained at the scene.
The pedestrian was transported by paramedics to a hospital. He was pronounced dead a short while later.
