Kansas City, MO (August 30, 2021) – Kansas City police responded to the scene when a motorcyclist was critically injured on Monday, August 30th after crashing into a car that pulled turned in front of it.
The accident took place at about 12:20 a.m. at the intersection of Ewing Avenue and East Truman Road.
Accident investigators said a Harley Davidson was riding westbound when a Chevrolet sedan pulled directly into its path from a stop sign heading northbound.
The Harley struck the side of the vehicle, and the motorcyclist was thrown to the ground.
The rider, a 47-year-old man from Raytown, was transported to a local hospital with critical injuries.
The driver of the Chevrolet, a 73-year-old man from Kansas City man, was unharmed during the impact.
