Peculiar Township, MO (August 29, 2021) – On Sunday, August 29th, troopers from the Missouri State Highway Patrol were called to investigate a fatal two-car accident on MO-291 in Cass County.
The deceased has since been identified as 30-year-old Delbert L. Hannah, a resident of Archie.
Reports show that at about 6:05 p.m., a 2020 Chevrolet driven by Hannah overcorrected after passing uninvolved traffic, The vehicle then veered onto the opposite side of the road where it collided head-on with a 2020 Ram.
The driver of the Ram, a 61-year-old male from Raymore, was seriously injured. He was transported by South Metro Emergency Medical Services to Research Hospital in Kansas City.
