Platte Co, MO (August 28, 2021) – On Saturday, August 28th, a single-vehicle accident that caused injuries to two people took place in Platte County.
The accident took place on 64th Street near the on-ramp for Interstate 29 at about 11:25 p.m.
Reports show that a 2016 Yamaha was merging from 64th Street onto I-29 when the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn.
The driver, a 21-year-old male from Lee’s Summit, sustained minor injuries. His passenger, a 22-year-old female from Independence, endured injuries classified as non-critical. Both of them were transported by Kansas City Fire to North Kansas City Hospital.
