Springfield, MO – Noel Dedios Dies in Motorcycle Crash on Walnut Lawn

Springfield, MO (August 06, 2021) – The Springfield Police Department reported that one person was killed during a motorcycle accident that took place on Sunday, August 1st.

Reports show that at about 10:00 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of Walnut Lawn and Campbell Avenue when two motorcycles collided with a car in the intersection.

Both motorcycle operators sustained injuries and were transported by Emergency Medical Services to a local trauma center.

One of the motorcyclists, 58-year-old Noel Dedios, passed away due to his injuries. The other rider is still hospitalized.

Investigators determined that the collision occurred when the motorcycles were riding northbound along Campbell Avenue nearing Walnut Lawn. At that same time, another car was driving southbound on Campbell Avenue and attempting to make a lefthand turn onto Walnut Lawn. The motorcycles simultaneously crashed into the turning car in the intersection causing both riders to be thrown from their bikes.
