Big River Township, MO (December 27, 2021) – One person has lost their life following a motor vehicle accident in Jefferson County on Sunday evening, December 26. At around 9:05 p.m., authorities were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Route H.
Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 2020 Ram 1500 and a 2007 Scion TC were involved in a crash on Route H just east of Dry Creek Road. The crash blocked the roadway, causing moderate delays in the area.
One person involved in the crash, 37-year-old Amy Veit, suffered fatal injuries in the accident. She was declared deceased at the scene.
Two other victims, 36-year-old Joshua Cook, and a 12-year-old male were treated for injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
