Bolivar, MO (December 6, 2021) – Several people were left with injuries following a motor vehicle accident in the Bolivar area on Sunday afternoon, December 5. Just before 1:40 p.m., the Missouri State Highway Patrol was notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Missouri State Route 13.
Reports from authorities show that a 2004 Buick LeSabre failed to yield the right of way to a 2015 Toyota Prius on Missouri State Route 13 just four miles north of Bolivar.
The crash left several people injured. A male child less than 1-year-old age, a 3-year-old male, 19-year-old Brooke Parsons, and 20-year-old Johnathan McIntosh were all transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for care.
55-year-old Julia Tromblay and 71-year-old John Webb were both transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
