Brighton, MO (December 31, 2021) – Two people were left injured as a result of a motor vehicle accident in the Brighton area on Thursday morning, December 30.
According to reports provided by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2004 Ford Focus was traveling across Highway 13 when it collided with a 2016 Jeep Wrangler. The crash left both vehicles totaled and caused them to block the roadway.
A 12-year-old female in the Jeep and 90-year-old Rosalea Eastburn, who was driving the Ford, were both injured in the crash. The young girl was transported by ambulance to Mercy Springfield for care. Eastburn was airlifted by Cox Life Flight to Mercy for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
