Buffalo, MO (December 6, 2021) – Authorities in Dallas County were called to the site of a crash in the Buffalo area that sent one person to a local hospital with injuries. At around 12:20 p.m., on December 5, calls for assistance came in surrounding an auto accident on US Highway 65.
Reports from authorities indicate that a 2006 Chevrolet Malibu and a 2004 Lexus R-33 collided on US Highway 65 near Missouri State Highway 73 during the afternoon hours. The crash left both vehicles with moderate damage, requiring them to be towed from the scene.
The driver of the Lexus, 42-year-old James Elswick, sustained injuries in the crash. He was transported to Citizens Memorial Healthcare – Bolivar for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
