Butterfield, MO – Three Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on MO-37

Butterfield, MO (December 19, 2021) – Several people were transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for the treatment of injuries following a crash on Friday evening, December 17. At around 4:20 p.m., authorities were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Missouri State Route 37.

Reports from authorities show that a 2018 Chevrolet Equinox failed to yield the right of way to a 2006 Dodge Caravan. As a result, the vehicles collided in a T-bone manner on Missouri State Route 37.

Three people involved in the crash sustained serious injuries. The victims, 32-year-old Amanda Gammil, 50-year-old Hilda Gomez, and 51-year-old Lauren Caha-Fiedler, were all transported via EMS to Cox South Hospital for care.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
