Camden, MO (December 24, 2021) – Three people were left with injuries as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Camden County, according to local authorities. At around 2:50 p.m., on December 22, calls for assistance came in surrounding an auto accident on US Highway 54.
Reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol show that a 2007 Ford Taurus failed to yield the right of way to a 2016 Chrysler Town and Country while traveling in the area of US Highway 54 and Route O. As a result, the two vehicles collided.
EMS responded to the scene to treat three people who were injured. All three victims, identified as a 17-year-old male, a 17-year-old female, and 71-year-old Janet Gross, were transported by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
