Carl Junction, MO (December 23, 2021) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Jasper County ended in injuries. At around 1:30 p.m., on December 22, calls for assistance came in surrounding a two-vehicle collision on Fir Road.
Reports from Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper J. Drum show that a 2013 Mazda CX5 and a 1992 Mercury Cougar collided on Fir Road just west of the Carl Junction city limit.
The crash left two people injured. The driver of the Mercury, 67-year-old Greggory Hayes, was transported to Freeman West for care. The passenger in the Mazda, 31-year-old Lauren Fleshman, was transported to Mercy Joplin.
At this time, MSHP is investigating the crash.
