Caruthersville, MO – Kenneth Cripps Loses Life in Crash on I-55 near MM 14.6

Caruthersville, MO (December 13, 2021) – A two-vehicle accident reported on Sunday morning in Pemiscot County claimed one man’s life. At around 11:10 a.m., on December 12, calls for assistance came in surrounding an auto accident on Interstate 55.

Reports from authorities show that a rear-end collision between a 2013 Freightliner and a 2019 Freightliner occurred on the northbound side of Interstate 55 near mile marker 14.6.

The driver of the 2013 Freightliner, 55-year-old Kenneth Cripps, sustained fatal injuries in the accident. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
